I'm Dr. Carolyn Meister, physical therapist and owner of Expanditude. I have had so many opportunities of change in my life and starting Expansion Therapy is one of my favorite ones! I feel so grateful... (see what I did there) that I can share this message with the world on how we can connect with our breathing and expand together with gratitude!
My Story
As a college and professional athlete, I understood first hand the physical challenges that I put my body through and the inner working of my body, pain, tension and injury. When getting my doctorate in physical therapy, I pushed myself mentally to graduate, understand injuries and the body from a healing standpoint and learned how to care for others and their bodies. When getting psychotherapy for an eating disorder, I became aware of my emotional needs and how to listen to my feelings and where they can get trapped in the body. And lastly, my spirituality came after becoming an entrepreneur as I started branching out on my own, realizing that I wanted to help make the world a better place. ​
